A bill of materials organized by country of origin
Your costing sheet already has most of what an origin record needs, component, supplier and cost. The origin memo adds one more column, supplier country, and organizes the whole table by where each input was produced.
The one column that matters
Supplier country is where the component was produced, not where it was bought or invoiced from. A trading company or a distributor is not the origin. Getting this column right is the difference between a table a broker can use and one that has to be redone.
Building the table
The memo takes your bill of materials row by row, component, supplier, supplier country, unit cost and currency, and organizes it by origin country with a subtotal for each. Any row missing an origin country is flagged as origin not stated, to be obtained from the supplier.
Why the split by origin matters
A table split by origin country shows, at a glance, which inputs came from Vietnam and which arrived from elsewhere before processing began. That split is the starting point for the processing table and for the transformation indicators that follow it, both of which point back to the same bill of materials.
What the pack produces for this
The bill of materials by country of origin, subtotaled by origin country, with any missing rows flagged for follow-up. It feeds the processing table, the transformation-indicators section and the supplier origin declarations, all drawn from the same source data you provide once. The table organizes your inputs. It does not, by itself, decide anything about the finished product.
